A note from Mrs. Herrmann...
Sixth grade is such a fun and exciting time! At John Paul II it also marks the end of one chapter in a student's educational career. Each year I strive to make my students' last year at JPII one to remember. There are many perks and special things that come along with being a 6th grader and I very much enjoy navigating that journey with my students each year.
Many students (and parents too) begin to feel anxiety as the middle school years are just around the corner. I feel that one of my responsibilities is to equip each student with the tools necessary to have a positive experience when they move on to middle school. It's my mission to provide students with a welcoming, comfortable and faith-filled learning environment as they transition into young adolescence. I emphasize responsibility. Students who are conscientious about their homework, manage their time wisely and strive to do their best will likely see much success in the years to come. I look forward to another great year!
